After seeing the sheer volume of posts here on all sorts of questions about renting, I knew this link from The Consumerist would come in handy here: a listing of State by State Rights of Landlords and Tenants.  All kinds of useful info there, like PA Landlord Tenant Law, PA Security Deposit Law, or even the PA Landlord Tenant Act (PDF).

I've been combing craigslist and every other place I can think of, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding a nice apartment/good landlord that allows pets in the area. I have a friend who is looking for a nice two bedroom apartment in the East End that would accept cats. I remember dealing a couple of years ago with a real estate agency that specialized in working with renters (both for homes and apartments), but I do not remember their name. Any suggestions?
